06. April 2014: German Catholic Association of the Blind

Meeting with the German Catholic Blindenwerk in Berlin, Herz Jesu parish. After a joint divine service, the chairman of GIPP e.V., Mr. Heise, gave a lecture on the project of the Salvator Schools in Berlin, Bad Wurzach and Steinfeld. The goal to support the home for the blind in Guwahati, Assam was also very well received by the Blindenwerk. The Blindenwerk will soon decide on the type of cooperation.


23 May 2014: Social Day

Social Day at the Salvator School in Berlin. All high school students go to work on this day or take part in a sponsored run. All proceeds are donated by the young people to the GIPP projects.
In the evening there is a big charity gala for the students. The school representatives organize a chic party for all those who have participated in this project day through work or runs, the motto being: An Indian Night.

23-25 June 2014: Meeting at the Salvator-Kolleg

Mr. Heise visits the GIPP partner school from Baden-Württemberg, the Salvator-Kolleg. Together with the college, the parents' and student's representatives, they will consider how the school community from southwest Germany can develop their own focal points in this project.

01. August 2014: Return of Lukas Herkt

Return of Lukas Herkt from his traineeship at our partner school (Christ Jyoti Schooll) in Nagaon, Assam. After a period of familiarization we will celebrate his return to the school. Lukas will have the opportunity to share his experiences.

02. August 2014: Departure of new volunteers

Planned departure of the three new volunteers who will start their service at the GIPP partner schools /Christ Jyoti School and Blindenheim).


18 September 2014: Lecture Kolping

Lecture for the Kolping Family in St. Augustinus in Berlin-Pankow.

14 October 2014: Meeting in Rome

Talks with the Mission Procurator of the Salvatorian Order in Rome. Within the scope of a course trip of the Berlin Salvator School an exchange takes place about the projects organized by GIPP e.V. for the benefit of the Salvator Schools in Assam, India.
